Red Desert is one of my original compositions for the dutar. It took me years to develop my own unique style and technique, and in that sense, Red Desert is my very first composition.

This recording was made in Scotland in September 2024 as part of the Making Tracks project.

This video captures both the first and, sadly, the final performance with my dutar before it was broken in Glasgow a week later, during the tour.
